Robert E. “Bob” Shock, 82, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2012 at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. He was born on June 18, 1929 in Fort Wayne, IN to Ezra E. & Minnie D. (Stump) Shock.
He graduated in 1947 from Syracuse High School and lived most of his life in Syracuse except for several years he lived in Florida. He was married on August 28, 1949 in Syracuse to Nancy “Diane” Dietrick who survives. He retired in 1995 from Blue Flame in Syracuse after 7 years and formerly was an exterminator and milk delivery man in Florida.

2 Sons - John (wife, Susan) Shock of Syracuse & Gregory (wife, Sandra) Shock of Syracuse
12 Grand, 4 Step Grand, 34 Gt. Grand, & 1 Gt. Gt. Grandson
He was preceded by his parents, & daughter – Nancy Jane Shock.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Owen Family
Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at McClintic Cemetery in Syracuse with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
