Robert J. "Bobby" Houser, Jr

Robert J. “Bobby” Houser Jr., 26, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away at 3:21 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on February 12, 1988 in Goshen, IN to Robert J. “Bob” & Margaret A. “Maggie” (Schopf) Houser.

He graduated in 2007 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and was married on July 31, 2010 in Fort Wayne to Elizabeth M. “Liz” Lechlitner who survives. He lived most of his life in the Syracuse area before moving to Fort Wayne in 2007. He was employed at Walmart Distribution Center in Garrett, IN as an order filler / fork truck driver since August 2007 and also worked part time with Adams Landscaping in Fort Wayne.

He attended The Chapel in Fort Wayne.

Step Brother – Scott Delucenay

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Hawks of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Memorial bequest may be given to Riley Hospital for Children, 30 S. Meridian St., Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204 or American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach Dr., Mishawaka, IN 46545. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
