Robert L. "Larry" Quillen

Robert (Larry) Lawrence Quillen passed on March 5th, 2019.  He departed with family at his bedside and retained his sense of humor to the end. He counted his two greatest accomplishments as his son Jared Kyle and building his lake house for his family.  He was never more at home than on the water, either skiing or hauling kids around on inner tubes. He leaves behind a legacy of fun memories and bad jokes.  He was also a master craftsman, designing and engineering commercial HVAC systems.

He is survived by; his son Jared (Andrea), his partner of 23 years, Beth Reich and her two children Jarad and Heather, his brothers Matthew and Patrick, a sister Abigail, and two grandchildren, Brody and Ansley.  His parents Claude and Carol, and sister Missy preceded him in death.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 16th at Black Cemetery, Albany, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Larry Quillen can be sent to Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN in his name.
