Robin Walter, 61, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at her home. She was born on February 7, 1956 in Franklin, IN to Lonnie E. and Letha M. (Dicken) Nixon.
She graduated from Franklin High School in 1974, attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN, and completed her nursing degree in Michigan. She was married on January 17, 2003 to Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Walter who preceded her on August 12, 2014. She moved to the Elkhart / Syracuse area from Franklin in 1977 and worked as a registered nurse at various nursing homes.
She was a member of the Grace Bible Baptist Church in New Paris, IN.
She is survived by:
Son – Justin Anderson of Goshen, IN
Sister – Luann St. John of Fort Wayne, IN
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son – David Anderson, brother – David Nixon, and sister – Colleen Johnson.
A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Grace Bible Baptist Church, 68080 Division Street, New Paris, IN with Pastor Mike Gross officiating.
