Roger Lee Davies

Roger Lee Davies, 64, of Ligonier, IN (formerly of Fort Wayne, IN) passed away at 5:51 a.m. on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Avalon Village Healthcare in Ligonier. He was born on November 13, 1954 in Fort Wayne, IN to Ronald F. and Virginia Danine (Sadler) Davies.

He lived most of his life in the Fort Wayne area, attended school in Angola, and graduated in 1973 from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne. He formerly was employed at St. Joseph Hospital, Five Points Package, Ingram Distribution, G.E., Phillips Dodge, and was the former owner / operator of Roger’s Lawn Service all in Fort Wayne.

He formerly attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.

He is survived by:

Mother – Virginia Davies of Syracuse

4 Brothers – Terry Davies of Syracuse, Brian Davies of Syracuse, Ken (Janet) Davies of Fort Wayne, and John (Shelley) Davies of Syracuse

7 Nieces & Nephews and several Gt. Nieces & Nephews

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN 46567. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Stan Owen. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the Brushy Prairie Cemetery near South Milford, IN.
