Roland Gonzales, 59, Warsaw, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 7:15 AM in Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.
Roland was born July 13, 1954 in Brownsville, Texas to Guadalupe and Maria (Robles) Gonzales. He married Maria Del Carmen Cruz Marin on January 16, 2003 in Warsaw, Indiana.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Maria Del Carmen Cruz Gonzales; daughters: Janie Gonzalez of Warsaw, Jessica Gonzales of Milford, Billie Jo Luna of Warsaw, Erica Benitez of Pierceton, Diana D. Diaz Barriga of Warsaw and son: Hugo Diaz Barriga of Warsaw; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; 2 sisters: Gloria Alicia Moreno of Corpus Christi, Texas and Irma Noriega of Warsaw; 7 brothers: Guadalupe Gonzales, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, Valentine Gonzalez of Houston, Texas, Roberto Gonzalez of San Benito, Texas, Jesus Gonzalez of Fort Worth, Texas, Abraham Gonzales of Warsaw, Ruben Gonzalez of South Whitley and Gilbert Perez of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, a stillborn son, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Friday, June 6th from 6 - 8 PM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:45 PM Friday in the funeral home. A service celebrating Roland's life will begin at 11 AM in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Warsaw, Indiana with Father Constantino Rocha officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
