Ronald D. Stephens Sr., of Warsaw, passed away surrounded by his family after complications from a recent heart surgery on January 30, 2025. He was 75 years old. He was born on May 16, 1949 to Robert and Bureda Stephens in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He would marry his wife Nora (Clark) Stephens on July 2, 1966.

Ronald spent a significant part of his life dedicated to his career, working many years at Gulf Stream before his retirement. His professional journey reflected not just a commitment to his work but an unwavering dedication to providing for his family.

Ronald had a great love for golf, often finding joy on the course, surrounded by friends and family. He truly valued those moments of connection, whether on the green or during family gatherings.

He is survived by his children: Ron (Tracey) Stephens Jr. of South Whitley, Angie (Jay) Miller of Claypool, Greg (Candace) Stephens of Warsaw, and Adam Stephens of Warsaw. Ronald took immense pride in his role as a father and treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren which included 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Along with his beloved girlfriend Sue Varney. In addition he is survived by his siblings; brothers: Don (Dian) Adkins of Pierceton, Danny (Vicky) Adkins of Huntsville, AL, Gary (Cecelia) Adkins of Milford, Junior (Melanie) Stephens of Warsaw, Joe (Beth) Stephens of Claypool; sisters: Faye Campbell of Warsaw, Debra (Terry) Thompson of Warsaw, Rita (Kenny) Elder of Pierceton, Lena (Joe) Ball of Burket, Tena (Brooks) Huffer of Warsaw, and Belva Stephens of Warsaw.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bureda Stephens, stepmother Lexie Stephens and his siblings, Ray Stephens, Okie Baker, Cookie Bryant, and Dean Adkins. His legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN. A Life Celebration Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. At noon his funeral will be held and officiated by Pastors Tom Coltrain and Bob Brown. Burial will follow to Oakwood Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Nora.
