Royce E. Weaver

Royce Eugene Weaver, 102, of Pierceton, IN passed away at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on April 13, 1919 in North Webster, IN to J. Stanley & Edna Elizabeth (Shoemaker) Weaver.

He was a lifetime North Webster / Pierceton area resident and attended North Webster / Pierceton Schools. He was married on September 29, 1940 in Pierceton, IN to Evelyn D. Huffer who preceded him on March 6, 2001 and was a lifetime self-employed farmer.

He is survived by:

2 Daughters – Sharon (Richard) DuBois of Wabash & Marsha (James) Vandewalker of Churubusco

7 Grand & 14 Gt. Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson – Shad Vandewalker, sister – Lucile Weaver-McMeekin, and brother – Ward Weaver.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday in the North Webster Cemetery with Pastor Larry Schmoekel officiating.
