Ruby Rapp (Snyder)

Ruby J. Rapp, 90, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at 9:15 PM in Grace Village Retirement Community (Healthcare), Winona Lake, Indiana.
The daughter of Earl and Glade (Entsminger) Snyder, Ruby was born April 17, 1924 in Warsaw, Indiana. On September 28, 1946, and also in Warsaw, Ruby became the wife of Harry E. Rapp, Jr. He would precede her death on November 3, 1980.
She was a Warsaw area resident and most recently had lived in Leesburg, Indiana. Ruby worked at Warsaw Day Care of Warsaw for 10 years. She had also been employed by the Bowen Center, Warsaw.
Ruby was a member of First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and attended First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County in Claypool, Indiana.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Janet and Carl Ousley, Leesburg; son and daughter-in-law: David and Cathy Rapp of Warsaw; 4 grandchildren and their spouses: Michelle and Greg Lehman of North Manchester, Indiana; Aaron Ousley, Seattle, Washington; Christina Wilson, Warsaw; and David E. and Lindsay Rapp, Warsaw; 5 great grandchildren: Jacob and Colton Lehman, Ezra Leal, and Presley and Canton Rapp.
In addition to her husband, Ruby was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Rhonda Ousley in 1970, 3 brothers: Dewey Snyder, Donald Snyder (June1, 1992) and Harold Snyder (2004); and her twin sister: Ruth Julian (November 5, 2012).
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing memories in support of each other Tuesday, January 6th from 4-8 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
A service celebrating the life of Ruby J. Rapp will take place Wednesday, January 7th beginning at 11 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Terry Bradford of First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool, Indiana will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
