Ruby J. "Jackie" Wolfe

Ruby J. “Jackie” Wolfe, 71, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on March 25, 1939 in Carbon, WV to Rev. Ellis V. & Polly H. (Abshire) Barker.
She grew up in West Virginia and attended East Bank High School in East Bank, WV. She was married on November 25, 1977 in Pearisburg, VA to Hubert L. Wolfe who preceded her in 1994. She moved to North Webster in 1977 from West Virginia and then to Syracuse in 2005. She retired as a group leader in 1999 from Dekko Heating
Technologies, Inc
in North Webster after 20 years.
She was a member of the North Webster Church of God and formerly of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster. She was a pet lover and loved her dogs

1 Step Son: Mark & Linda Wolfe of Charlotte, NC
5 Step Grand & 3 Step Gt. Grandchildren
1 Sister - Mrs. Vint (Phyllis “Susie”) Eden of Blacksburg, VA

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, sister – Louise Filbin, 2 brothers – Vernon & Bernard Barker.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in Syracuse officiating. Burial will follow in the North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition).
