Ruth Hazel

Ruth Ann Hazel, of Warsaw, passed away at Mason Health and Rehabilitation on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the age of 80. On October 30, 1942, Ruth was born in Goshen, IN to the late Wilmer and Etta Fern Grabill. She married Dennis M. Hazel on May 31, 1995 and enjoyed 20 years together until his passing on February 19, 2016. Ruth had a creative and artistic soul. She worked in the fabric department at Walmart for 23 years supporting other crafters until her retirement in 2007. Ruth continued to sew and create beautiful quilts for many years until her eyesight declined. Most of all, Ruth loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her children, Mitch Feldman, Tracy (Ron Pease) Feldman, and Tina (Steve) Pawlak; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mary Gordon.
