Ruth Seiffert (Engle)

Ruth M. Seiffert, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 2:31PM in her Warsaw, Indiana home.
Ruth was born January 20, 1931 in Claypool, Indiana to Merl Royse and Blanche Irene (Harper) Engle. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1949.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident she was a finisher at Zimmer for 15 years and retired in 1993.
Ruth was a babysitter and an avid reader who enjoyed working word searches. If someone was truly in need of a place to sleep, she would provide one.
Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and Jody Engle and Kevin and Andrea Engle – all of Warsaw; daughter and son-in-law: Teresa and Todd Shepherd, Warsaw; step son and step daughter-in-law: William and Connie Seiffert and step daughter: Jennifer Seiffert – all of Warsaw; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Max and Barbara Engle of Clunette, Indiana and Royse and Earline Engle of Winona Lake, Indiana; 2 sisters: Francis Noble and Nancy (John) Kleeman – all of Warsaw.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Seiffert on November 14, 1990. Also preceding her is a step son: Robert Seiffert; brother: Earl Engle; and sister: Mearlene Kassebaum.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 17th from 4-7 PM in Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
A service celebrating the life of Ruth Seiffert will begin at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 18th in the funeral home. Pastor Bob Jarboe, chaplain with Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
The family has asked that gifts in memory of Eleanor be directed to K-21 Health Foundation - Cancer Care Fund, PO Box 1810, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1810.
The staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it a privilege and an honor to care for the family and friends of Ruth Seiffert.
