Ruthella Boggs

Ruthella G. Boggs, 85, of Milford died at 6:46 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2008 at Goshen General Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1923 in Akron, OH to William A. & Sarah (Aylor) Lawrence.

After high school she attended secretarial school in Ohio. She was formerly a medical secretary and then retired as secretary after 10 years with the Carr Memorial Homes in Akron, OH.

She moved to the Warsaw/Milford area in 2002 from Akron, OH. She was a member of the Firestone Park Christian Church in Akron, OH and the Daughters of America.

She is survived by;
2 Daughters - Mrs. John (Jean) Myers of Syracuse, IN & Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Boggs - Rhoades of Mechanicsville, VA
1 Sister - Betty June Williams of Cuyahoga Falls, OH 4 Grand & 3 Gt. Grandchildren

She was preceded by her parents, daughter - Belinda Knight, & sister - Gertrude Abshire

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN and from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron, OH with Rev. John Myers officiating.

Memorial bequests may be given to the Quaker Haven Camp, 111 EMS D16C Lane, Syracuse, IN. Envelopes will be available at the funeral homes.
