Ryan D, Mack, 34, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 16, 1980 in East Chicago, IN.

He graduated in 1998 from Crown Point High School in Crown Point, IN and moved to Syracuse in 1999. He was employed at Poly-Wood, Inc. in Syracuse for 2 years and Wawasee Bowl in Syracuse. He was formerly employed at Lance’s New Market Grocery in Syracuse.

He formerly attended St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Syracuse & St. Michaels Catholic Church in Schererville. Ryan’s children were his world, he helped out at every baseball, basketball and football game for Ryan Jr. and loved to golf & wrestle with him. He was an avid bears & bulls fan and music was his passion.

He is survived by:
Daughter – Madalyn Mack
Son – Ryan Mack Jr.
Mother & Step Father – Mary & Craig Hilbrich of Syracuse
Sister – Melissa (James) Ducheteau of Syracuse
Brother – Christopher (Amanda) Mack of Elkhart
5 Nieces
Maternal Grandmother – Dorothy Ziga of Schererville

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather – Richard Ziga & Gt. Grandmother – Alicia Sack.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at St. Martin’s de Porres Catholic Church, 6941 E. Waco Dr., Syracuse, IN. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Ryan Mack Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN 46567. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or church.
