Sabina De La Fuente

Sabina De La Fuente, 102, of Milford, IN passed away at 8:52 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at her residence. She was born on February 20, 1918 in Cruillas, Mexico to Guadalupe & Maria Regina (Garza) De La Fuente.

She grew up in Mexico, attended school there and moved to Milford in 1963 from Texas. She was married to Flumencio De La Fuente who preceded her in 1982. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Land O’ Goshen in New Paris. She formerly attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Milford.

She is survived by:

2 Daughters – Hilda Flores & Maria (Jorge) Castro both of Milford

5 Sons – Jose (Toun) Guadalupe De La Fuente of Elkhart, IN, Harvey (Adele) De La Fuente of Elkhart, Louis (Lupita) De La Fuente of Harlingen TX, David (Joni) De La Fuente of Milford, and Robert (Maria) De La Fuente of Milford

Brothers & Sisters – Silvestre, Amberto, Locha, Trinedad, Natalia

She was preceded by her Parents, husband, 2 sons – Delio and Guadalupe De La Fuente, 2 grandsons – Ricky De La Fuente Esperanza Castro & Delio Dela Jr., and siblings - Ciro & Guadalupe.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Panteone Municipal De Cruillas Cemetery in Mexico.
