Sandra Lou Horton, 57, of Lugoff, SC (formerly of Syracuse) died Friday, February 13, 2009. She was born on April 30, 1951in Goshen, IN to Paul Alden & Birda Rhudell (Dennison) Yeager.
She graduated in 1969 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN. She recieved her Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and then recieved her Master's Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina. She taught Special Education in the Kershaw County School District.

Daughter - Katy Horton of Lugoff, SC
Son - Thomas R. (wife, Katherine ) Horton Jr. of Simpsonville, SC

Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the Meetinghouse Room in the Greencroft Healthcare Center North, 1225 Greencroft Dr. in Goshen and from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 647 Lachicotte Rd., Lugoff, SC 29078. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
