Sandra K. Boyer

Sandra K. "Sandy" Boyer, 78, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Warsaw Meadows Care Center in Warsaw, IN. She was born on October 22, 1939 in Three Rivers, MI to Wendell L. & Melvae Marie (Houser) Drew.

She graduated from high school in Michigan and lived most of her life in Michigan, Wolcottville, Cromwell, & Syracuse areas.  She was married on October 15, 1988 in LaGrange IN to Kenneth J. “Ken Hammer who preceded her in March 1998. Then on December 15, 2001 she married Marshall G. “Baldy” Boyer Sr. who preceded her on April 11, 2014.  She was a homemaker and formerly worked for the American Legion in Syracuse for 12 years.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

Step Daughter – Teresa Boyer of Syracuse

2 Step Sons – Marshall (Mary) Boyer Jr. of Milford & Tony (Flora) Boyer of Warsaw

Several Step Grand & Step Gt. Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and son.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St. Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
