Shari A. Lambert

Shari Anne Lambert, 59, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on May 2, 1962 in Goshen, IN to John & Barbara (Bitner) Miller.

She graduated in 1980 from Wawasee High School, 1984 from Ball State University in Muncie, IN, and received her Master’s Degree from Indiana University in Fort Wayne. She was married on May 23, 1986 in Bremen, IN to William F. “Willie” Lambert who survives and was a lifetime Syracuse area resident. She retired from the Milford Public Library as a Children’s Librarian and formerly worked as a Paraprofessional for Wawasee Community School Corp.

She was formerly involved with the Milford P.T.O.

She is survived by:

Husband – Willie Lambert of Syracuse

Daughter – Nicole Lambert of Fishers, IN

Son – Nathan (Dani) Lambert of Syracuse

Father – John Miller of Syracuse

3 Sisters – Shawna (Jeremy) Van Lue of Syracuse, Shantel (Aaron) Keith of Syracuse, and Michelle "Sheli" (Dave) Harmeyer of Glendora, CA

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, 2021 in the funeral home with Nathan Warstler officiating. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
