Biography
Sharon A. Ermi passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:16 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana, at the age of 71.
She was born January 12, 1944 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Stanley B. and Margaret (Engelke) Olkowski Helms Nisiewicz.
Sharon moved from Milwaukee to Milford, Indiana 15 years ago. She was employed by Maple Leaf Farms for 26 years retiring in 2009 as a purchasing agent. She was the secretary/treasurer for the Bull Haulers. Sharon loved being a caregiver.
Those who survive are her son and daughter-in-law: Sam and Cheryl Boettcher of Sturtevant, Wisconsin; 2 daughters: Stacey Boettcher (and her companion: Ted Fonk), Warsaw and Ginger Steen of Syracuse, Indiana; many grandchildren; her life partner: John Snyder of Milford; 1 brother; and 4 sisters. She was preceded in her passing by a brother.
A memorial celebration of Sharon’s life will be held Saturday, March 26th at 1 PM in the Leesburg Lion's Club.
The family has asked that gifts be given to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Sharon’s memory.
