Sharon A. Martin, of Syracuse, passed away at her home on October 16, 2024, at the age of 71. Born to Willie and Joyce Bond on February 11, 1953, in Southbridge, MA, Sharon was known for her quiet, kind-hearted nature and her unwavering dedication to her loved ones and the community around her.
In her professional life, Sharon contributed her time and effort to the North Webster Church of God, where she worked in cleaning services, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for all who entered. Her dedication to service reflected her compassionate soul and her desire to help others.
Sharon’s interests extended far beyond her work; she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending quality time with her family, indulging in the joys of camping at Jellystone, and fostering friendships through water aerobics. Her beloved dog, Dexter, brought her immense happiness and companionship, showcasing Sharon’s love for animals and the warmth she shared with those around her.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Martin; her son, Doug (Shari) Ringler; and her sisters, Donna (Paul) Thornhill, Luann (Steven) Wiggs, and Joyce (Mike) Hardy. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her son Chris Ringler, who passed away in 1998, and her brother Chet Bond. While she will be dearly missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service to honor Sharon’s life will be held at the North Webster Church of God, 302 N Main St. North Webster, IN 46555, on Friday, October 18, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM.
