Sharon Marie Barrett, 72, of North Webster, IN passed away 6:03 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Mason Health & Rehab in Warsaw, IN. She was born on May 21, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to Wendell & Margaret (Gilley) Galbreath.
She graduated in 1962 from Arsenal High School in Indianapolis and moved to the North Webster area in 1962 from Indianapolis. On July 30, 1976 in Columbia City, IN she married Larry Allen Barrett who survives. She retired in 2006 from Dana in Syracuse after 20 years and formerly worked at Serenade Foods in Milford for 10 years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster and Lakeland Snowmobile Club.
She is survived by:
Husband – Larry Barrett of North Webster
Daughter – Sherri Conley of Syracuse
2 Sons – Michael Lawrence of Milford and Tim (Cassandra) Barrett of Leesburg
6 Grand & 3 Gt. Grandchildren
Brother – Charles (Michelle Blitz) Parr of Wabash
She was preceded by her parents and brother – James Galbreath.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Mueller of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw officiating. Burial will be in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
