Shawne L. Beatty

Shawne L. Beatty, 46, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his home. He was born on May 9, 1970 in Elkhart, IN to Ronald Ray & Pamela M. (Bertch) Beatty.

He graduated in 1988 from Elkhart Central High School and was a lifetime Elkhart, Goshen, and Syracuse area resident. He was a former builder at Genesis Construction in Goshen and a tool and die operator at Norco Industries in Elkhart.

He is survived by:

Companion – Misty Conrad of Syracuse

Son – Matthew Fox of Alabama

Daughter – Magdalene Fox of Elkhart

Mother – Pamela Robinson of Elkhart

Step-Sister – Casey Spearow of Mottville, MI

Paternal Grandmother – Ethel Shue of Elkhart

Maternal Grandmother – Marie Bender of Elkhart

Aunts & Uncles – Charles Beatty of Elkhart, Danny Beatty of Bristol, Steve Bertch of Elkhart, Sue (Bob) Sowers of Niles, MI, and John (Becky) Bender of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandfathers – Mike Bender & Charles Beatty, and uncle Terry Bender.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home. 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Ray Caudill  & Pastor Rob Berghorst officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family burial will be in the Rice Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be given to the Shawne Beatty Family to assist with medical expenses, c/o Misty Conrad. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
