Sherman Kimbal Scott, known to many as “Kim,” passed away on Sunday, April 7th at 11:15 a.m. in his Milford home. Age 69 at the time of his death, he was surrounded with love from his family at his passing.
Kim was born on December 12, 1949 in Elkhart County to father, Russell Scott and mother, Ila Ruth (Brooks) Scott. His mother, father and step-mother, Iva Scott, all preceded him in passing.
Kim was a kind, friendly man. He never knew a stranger and was quick to make friends with his great sense of humor and genuine personality. He loved Scooby Doo, Spiderman and all things Disney. He had a special, innocent fondness for the Disney Princesses and recently met Anna and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen. He loved television shows like Let’s Make a Deal and The Price Is Right and enjoyed collecting unique treasures. When traveling he enjoyed Seaworld and Disneyland; at home he took great pride in caring for his house and yard and was always sure to save walnuts for the neighborhood squirrels.
Kim’s caring, friendly personality will be missed by many including his sister, Jennie (husband, Donald) Blodgett of Decaturville, TN; niece, Jodie (husband, Scott) Wallace of Warsaw and nephew, Rick (wife, Teresa) Linville of Middlebury.
Visitation and funeral will be at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw on Wednesday, April 10th. Friends may gather from 1 to 2 p.m. with service beginning at 2 o’clock.
