Shirley A. Hewitt

Shirley A. Hewitt, 73, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 4:49 a.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2019 in North Webster.  She was born on July 17, 1945 in Goshen, IN to Charles Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Strieby) Hewitt.

She was a lifetime area resident and attended New Paris and Syracuse Schools.

She retired in January 2002 from Chore Time Brock in Milford after 33 years in production.  She formerly attended the Baptist and Zion Churches in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

Sister - Betty Miller of Syracuse

Brother - Frederick Hewitt, Sr. of North Webster

Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by: parents & brother - Kenneth Hewitt.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.  Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Myron Drent of the Country Bible Church officiating.  Burial will follow at the North Webster Cemetery.
