Skyler Wayne Spore

Skyler Wayne Spore, 12, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 18, 2002 in Crawfordsville, IN to Darrick W. Spore & Candy S. Chamness.

He moved to the Syracuse area 6 years ago from Crawfordsville and attended Milford Middle School in Milford, IN. He mowed neighborhood lawns, formerly attended Rock Solid Youth Group and enjoyed playing basketball & football at the Syracuse Community Center.

He is survived by:
Parents – Darrick Spore & Candy Chamness of Syracuse
Brother – Tyler Spore
Maternal Grandmother – Sue Fisher of Crawfordsville
Paternal Grandparents – Beverly Grimes of Crawfordsville & Dale (Betty) Spore of Syracuse
Maternal Gt. Grandparents – Marie Norris, Bonnie (Steven) Moffitt, & Bill Chamness all of Crawfordsville

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather – Bob Chamness.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN and 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on July 3, 2014 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 300 S. Grant St., Crawfordsville, IN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Burkhart Funeral Home with Pastor Joses Lee of the New Harvest Church in Crawfordsville officiating. Burial will follow at the Wesley Cemetery in Waynetown, IN.
