Sonja Ann Ross, 64, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born on February 1, 1947 in Auburn, IN to Samuel & Sarah L. (McDonald) Crossley.
She attended Noble County Schools and was a lifetime Noble / Kosciusko County resident having moved to Syracuse in 1976 from Ligonier. She was formerly employed at N.I.A. in Nappanee, Sea Nymph in Syracuse and Millennium Industries in Ligonier.
She was a member of the V.F.W Auxiliary Post 1342 & American Legion Auxiliary Post 223 both of Syracuse.
She is survived by:
Daughter – Mrs. Brian (Teresa) Antonides of Syracuse
Son – Terry Schrock of Syracuse
4 Grandchildren
Sister – Arlene “Fran” Collins of Ligonier
2 Brothers – Dave (wife, Myrna) Crossley of Ohio & Sam (wife, Linda) Crossley of Kendallville
She was preceded in death by her parents – Samuel Crossley & Sarah Lemley.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Judy officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
