Biography
Stephen David “Steve” Nuechterlein, 43, was found Friday, November 21, 2014 in his Fort Wayne, Indiana home.
Steve was born September 6, 1971. He was the son of John and Linda (McGinnis) Nuechterlein and lived most of his life in Fort Wayne.
He was the owner of Nuechterlein Agency and also was a representative for body building supplement companies.
Steve’s passions included body building, baseball, tennis and music.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law: Ashley Kaye and Kyle Fuelling; son: Dakota Nuechterlein; parents John and Linda Nuechterlein; 2 brothers: Ryan Nuechterlein and Ian Nuechterlein – all of Fort Wayne; paternal grandmother: Jeanne Nuechterlein, Fort Wayne; 2 uncles: Gary McGinnis of Fort Wayne and John Lane of Warsaw, Indiana; nephew Liam Nuechterlein; and his cat, Sevin.
Preceding Steve in death was “Dad Jim”, maternal grandparents: Gloria and Gene Lane; and paternal grandfather: Herb Nuechterlein.
A memorial service celebrating Steve’s life will take place Saturday, November 29th beginning at 1 PM in TITUS FUNERAL HOME, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. Pastor Corinne Boruff-Stucker of Churubusco United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family has asked that gifts in Steve’s memory be given to Wildcat Baseball League, 1302 Creighton Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46803.
