Stephen L. Porter

Stephen L. Porter, 72, of North Webster, IN passed away at 10:02 p.m. on Sunday December 8, 2013 at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake, IN. He was born on August 19, 1941 in Ironton, OH to Paul W. Porter Sr. & Maxine Hill Porter.

He graduated from Ironton High School and was a United States Army veteran. He retired from Mid-State Trucking Company and formerly worked for many years at Food Marketing in Fort Wayne. He moved to North Webster several years ago from the Fort Wayne/ Bluffton area.

He was a former member of the United Methodist Church.

He is survived by:
Daughter – Teresa (Mark) VerKuilen of Appleton, WI
4 Grandchildren – Andrea, Grant, Stone, & Chancellor VerKuilen
Sister – Blanche Porter Brammer of Fairborn, OH
Brother – Paul w. Porter Jr. of Grand Ridge, FL
Special Friends – Dan & Sue Adams Family of Greentown

He was preceded by his parents & sister - LoWayne Porter Cox.

No public services are planned at this time per his request.
