Steve Fisher

August 27, 1961 — November 14, 2020

Steve Fisher, age 59 of Warsaw, passed away quietly on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in the loving care of his family at home. “Steve,” as most knew him, was born on August 27, 1961. He was born in Goshen and was the son of Keith Douglas Fisher and Martha (Elliott) Russell.

Many will remember Steve in connection with his business, Fisher and Son Well Drilling, which he operated in Warsaw and Kosciusko County for more than twenty-seven years. He was a hard worker and was proud to work alongside his son, Adam who continues to run the company’s day-to-day operations.

Steve had a good sense of humor with an ornery side. He liked to pick on those he loved, harassing everyone at holiday gatherings. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles and time spent on his Heritage Softail Classic. He was always sure to have fun toys for his grandchildren like 4-wheelers, go karts and dirt bikes and enjoyed tinkering with them himself. He was also a good mechanic and could fix seemingly anything.

On October 13, 1994, Steve was married to Lora (Zumbrun) Fisher who survives at home. Also surviving are his son, Adam Fisher of Etna Green; daughters: Erica Moore (husband, Steve) of Milford and Erin Mosier of Warsaw; six grandchildren: Letica Cohagan (husband, Dayton), Logan House (wife, Angela), Desmond Hudson, Ethan House (wife, Renee), Lyla Fisher and Eli Fisher; three great-grandchildren; brother, Craig Fisher (wife, Jennifer) and his mother, Martha “Myrt” Russell. He was preceded in passing by his father, Keith Fisher in 2014 and his brother, Ronald Fisher in 2019.

A Life Celebration® is planned with Titus Funeral Home of 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw where friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, November 17th from 4 to 8 p.m. A private funeral and graveside service will be held at the funeral home with interment at Leesburg Cemetery later in the week. Family friend, Pastor Mike Beezley will officiate.

Memorial donations may be directed to Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, P.O. Box 1196 Warsaw, IN 46581-1196.
