Steven K. “Steve” Hampton, 64, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at 8:13 PM in Shady Rest Home, Plymouth, Indiana.
One of six sons born to Kenneth G. and Bonnie Lou (Singleton) Hampton, Steve was born September 11, 1951 in Hastings, Michigan. He was a 1969 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Swayzee, Indiana.
He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Steve enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Steve is survived by his father and step mother: Kenneth (and Charlene) Hampton, Warsaw, Indiana; 1 sister: Joni L. (and husband, Donald Novick) Hampton of Charlotte, North Carolina; 5 brothers: Douglas (and Cindy) Hampton, Warsaw; Matthew Hampton, Chicago, Illinois; Mark (and Sarah) Hampton of Portland, Maine; Kenneth (and Susan) Hampton, ll; Sanford, Maine; and Daniel H. (and Katy) Hampton, Warsaw; 1 half sister: Christy Daniels, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Steve’s mother, Bonnie Hampton, preceded him in passing on May 31, 1987.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
