Obituary for
Tammy Shepherd (Nagler)
Tammy Shepherd, a lifetime resident of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2:25 p.m. in Warsaw at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 74 years old.
Born on May 30, 1944 in Warsaw, Tammy was the youngest of three sisters and the daughter of Willard and Audrey (Dunnuck) Nagler. She grew up in Warsaw and attended East Ward School. Later, she would spend more than 20 years with Zimmer as an Outside Processor, packaging Zimmer implants.
On May 18, 1977 Tammy was united in marriage to Addam Shepherd in Warsaw. Together the two would share more than forty years before her passing. Addam survives in Warsaw.
Tammy was a member of Pierceton American Legion Auxillary, Post 258 and loved animals, especially dogs. More than anything, Tammy was a devoted mother and faithful Christian.
For Tammy, every outing, event and daily activity was focused on her family. A list of whom includes: husband, Addam; son, Fred (wife, Mariana) Shepherd of Fairfax, VA; daughter, Susan Shepherd of Baltimore, MD; grandson, Sean Shepherd of Fairfax VA and two sisters, Judi (husband, Paul) Eiler of Hickory, NC and Sharon Huffman of North Webster. Her passing was preceded by her parents.
Friends may join family for a time of visitation on Saturday, July 7th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A service which celebrates her life will take place at 3 p.m. Presiding over the funeral is Bishop's Counselor, Jonathan Bitter; brother Art Haas will be conducting. Burial will take place in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
