Tara L. Thornburg

Tara Lynn Thornburg, 23, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on June 4, 1991 in Goshen, IN to Troy L. Thornburg & Rachel M. Coons.

She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 2010 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She was formerly employed at New Market, McDonald’s, Marathon Gas Station, and Taco Bell all in Syracuse.

She formerly attended the North Webster Church of God.

She is survived by:

Sister – Tanya Thornburg of Syracuse
Brother – Trenton Thornburg of Syracuse
Maternal Grandparents - Pam Nichels of Syracuse

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
