Thelma M. Crow, 92, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 3:22 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on March 24, 1920 in Milford, IN to Charles Washington and Clara (Leatherman) Price.
She graduated from Milford High School in 1938 and was married on June 14, 1941 in Milford to Maurice B. “Morrie” Crow who preceded her in 1977. She was a lifetime resident of the Milford / Syracuse area, was a homemaker, & formerly worked at Maple Leaf Farms in Milford for several years.
She was a member of the Bethany Church of the Brethren in Milford and also attended the Syracuse Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by:
2 Sons – Charles “Chuck” (wife, Sally) Crow of Noblesville and Stephen Crow of Syracuse
6 Grand, 10 Gt. Grand, & 3 Gt. Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter - Marsha Ann Fisher, daughter in law – Linda (Robertson) Crow, 3 sisters – Charlotte Robinson, Flossie Hartter & Melba Rensberger, 4 brothers – Glenn, Russell, Everett, & Robert Price
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Timothy Morphew of Bethany Church of the Brethren officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at the Syracuse Cemetery.
Memorial bequest may be given to the donor’s choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
