Theodore R. (Ted) Robling

Theodore R. (Ted) Robling, 75, of New Port Richey, FL (formerly of Lakes Estates, Warsaw) died at 2:15 p.m. on November 20, 2008 in the Marliere Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey, FL. He was born on January 20, 1933 in Beach Grove, IN to Noble & Margaret (Critchlow) Robling.
He attended Warren Cenral High School in Indianapolis, IN and was married on September 2, 1953 in Greenfield, IN to Dorothy J. Johnson who survives. He lived at Lakes Estates near Warsaw for 22 years and then traveled for 5 years before settling in New Port Richey, Florida in the fall of 2007. He retired from North American Van Lines in Fort Wayne after 20+ years & Overnite Transportation Company in Fort Wayne after 10 years of service.
He is survived by:
Wife- Dottie Robling of Leesburg
1 Daughter- Mrs. Carl (Michele) Pieper of Leesburg
2 Grandchildren- Teddy & Taylor Pieper
1 Sister- Hazel Brieier of Indianapolis, IN
He was preceded by his parents, 1 sister- Betty Whiteman, 2 brothers- Jimmy & Tommy Robling.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN with Pastor Dennis Judy of the North Webster Church of God officiating. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Memorial bequest may be given to American Cancer Society or American Legion Post 253. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
