Theodore T. Routh, 74, of North Webster, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday February 25, 2015 at his home. He was born on October 29, 1940 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Jonathan B. & Caroline A. (Orr) Routh. On January 18, 1984 in Warsaw, IN he married Judith “Judy” (Neihardt) Perez. She survives along with a daughter, Teresa Hunter of Muncie, IN; three step-children, Cindy (Bob) Mollette of Milford, IN, Jenny Perez, Genaro Julio (Maria Alicia) Perez, both of the Dominican Republic; nine grandchildren, Josh, Raul, Alex, Nicole, Manuel, Danielle, Genaro, Isabella, Paula; a great grandson, Adrian; a brother, Jonathan B. (Cyndi) Routh of North Webster; three nephews, John P., Brian, Chris and a niece, Angela. Theodore graduated in 1958 from Muncie Central High School and was a US Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #253 in North Webster and he enjoyed fishing. Theodore was a fourth generation Plasterer and was a master at his trade. Cremation took place and a celebration of life service was held at on March 14, 2015 at the North Webster American Legion. with Fr. Larry R. Biller, from the All Saints Episcopal Church in Syracuse and Chaplain Russ Chandler from the North Webster American Legion officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association, Goshen Hospice, North Webster American Legion or the All Saints Episcopal Church in Syracuse, IN.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster is handling the services.
