Theresa F. Hoyt, 61, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 7:44 a.m. in her rural Warsaw, Indiana home.
A daughter born to Harold and Irene (Hines) Peterson, Theresa was born October 21, 1954 in Petersburg, Virginia. She was a 1973 graduate of Michigan City High School. Also in Michigan City and in the fall of that same year Theresa and Robert A. Hoyt were joined in marriage on October 6th.
Theresa lived most of her life in Warsaw. She was an injection molder for Union Products International for 11 years.
She enjoyed putting puzzles together and loved her children and grandchildren.
The family who survive in addition to her husband, Robert, are 3 daughters: Katheryn Heeter, Elisabeth Hoyt and Amanda Hoyt – all of Warsaw; 3 sons: Jonathon “Jon” Hoyt and Joseph “Joe” Hoyt both of Milford, Indiana and James Hoyt and his fiancée, Sara Russell, of Indianapolis, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law: Pricilla and Lorry Rock of Tippecanoe, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon Thursday, March 10th in Titus Funeral Home. A service celebrating Theresa’s life will begin at 12 Noon. Pastor Bob Brown of God’s Highway to Heaven Church in Warsaw will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family has asked that gifts in Theresa’s memory be given to God’s Highway to Heaven Church, 555 Webber Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
