Theresa A. Kitson, 53, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at her home. She was born on April 18, 1958 in Goshen, IN to Eugene & Doris (Wagner) Gordon.
She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1976 from Wawasee High School. She was married November 24, 1978 in Warsaw, IN to Jay L. Kitson who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly employed at 3 Flags Drive-in, Arthurs Grocery, & Pat Chicago Dogs all in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
Husband – Jay Kitson of Syracuse
2 Sons – Brian Kitson & Jason Kitson of Syracuse
2 Grandchildren – Caitlin & Austy
Mother – Doris Gordon of Syracuse
2 Brothers – Mike (wife, Pam) Gordon of Greensburg, IN & Brent (wife, Jodi) Gordon of Syracuse
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN 46567. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
