Thomas A. Gordon, a resident of Warsaw and originally of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly of diabetic complications on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. He was 48 years old.
The son of Tom Gordon and Renita (Price) Chesney, Thomas was born in Kokomo on August 17, 1972. He graduated from Western High School in 1993 and was married on June 14 of that same year to Charity Wiles. The pair shared nearly 28 years together before his Wednesday passing.
A Certified Nurse’s Aide and Massage Therapist by trade, Thomas went on to earn additional accreditation which allowed him to teach massage. Most notably, he was employed with Charter College of Health and Massage Therapy.
Thomas had always loved being outdoors. He loved the mountains and the wide-open spaces. When he was younger, he enjoyed horseback riding, barrel racing, and 4-H. He is remembered as a loving father, husband, and son.
Those who celebrate his life and cherish his memory include his wife, Charity Gordon; daughter, LeiAnna Gordon; son, Jeffery Gordon; grandchildren: Avalyn and Melody and brother, Mark (Jessica) Gordon – all of Warsaw. Also cherishing his memory are mother, Renita Chesney; father, Tom (Peggy) Gordon; nephew, Julis Gordon and nieces, Bonnie Gordon and Ayana Gordon. He was preceded in passing by both sets of grandparents and his step-father, Laymon Chesney.
Friends may gather with the family on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Warsaw’s Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street. Thomas’ Life Celebration® will begin at 6 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family with envelopes available at Titus.
