Thomas L “Tom” Perzee, 72, of Pierceton, IN passed away at 5:59 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was born on February 17, 1949 in Watseka, IL to Melvin C. & Marjorie (Korte) Perzee.
He graduated in 1967 from Lowell High School and attended Winnipeg Manitoba College & Moody Bible College in Chicago, IL. He was married on June 28, 1969 in Eureka, IL to Janet A. Yordy who preceded him on August 21, 2015. He moved to North Webster / Pierceton area in 1987 from South Bend, was the camp director for Camp Good News near North Webster and the owner / operators of Mel’s Pony Rides & Petting Zoo in Pierceton for many years.
He formerly attended the Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw.
He is survived by:
2 Brothers – John (Janet) Perzee of Cedar Lake, IN & Raymond (Mary Ann) Perzee of Herford, AZ
Sister - Sandra Perzee of Joliet, IL
Several Nieces & Nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 3 infant sons – James, Timothy & Paul Perzee, sister – Marilyn Farmer, and brother – Melvin Perzee.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Memorial services will follow at 6:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with John Perzee officiating. Burial will be in the Lowell Memorial Cemetery in Lowell, IN.
Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
