Thomas R. "Rex" Irwin

Thomas R. “Rex” Irwin, 84, of Silver Lake, IN passed away at 1:28 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Saint Joseph Reginal Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN. He was born on May 6, 1934 in Warsaw, IN to Thomas C. “Chester” & Ila (Kourt) Irwin.

He grew up in Atwood, graduated from Atwood High School in 1952,  and was a United States Army veteran. He was married on March 21, 2014 in Chicago, IL to William Yu who survives. He formerly worked at Clausing OCE in Warsaw, Nappanee Woods Products in Nappanee, and retired from Commodore Homes in Goshen. He lived most of his life in Atwood and moved to the Silver Lake area 6 years ago.

He formerly attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw.

Spouse – William Yu of Silver Lake

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements. A private burial will take place in the Stoney Point Cemetery.
