Timothy C. “Tim” Kaase, 50, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Monday, March 30, 202o at his home. He was born on January 5, 1970 in Santa Clara, CA to Frederick C. & Nerine A. (Seikert) Kaase.

He grew up in California and moved to the Syracuse / North Webster area in 2005 from Campbell, CA. He graduated in 1988 from Valley Christian High School & from San Jose State University both in San Jose, CA. He was employed at the Church of God in North Webster as building maintenance and head custodian for the past 6 years and formerly worked for the Elkhart County Corrections for 10 years.

He was a member of the Church of God in North Webster and was president of Teen Parents Succeeding in Syracuse.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Kalyssa Kaase of North Webster

2 Sons – Tyson (Samantha Malik) Kaase of Omaha, NE & Ian Kaase of North Webster

Mother – Nerine Kaase of Syracuse

He was preceded in death by his father.

Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus, cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No services will be held.** Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN, is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the Teen Parents Succeeding, 604 S Poplar Dr., Syracuse, IN 46567.
