Tina McGuire, born Rodriguez on November 17, 1958, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly in her home on March 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. A fun-loving people person, Tina’s warm spirit and zest for life touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Throughout her career, Tina dedicated herself to the service industry, working as a waitress and bartender in restaurants, where her engaging personality brightened the days of many patrons. She also owned Tostinas Cafe in North Webster, a beloved establishment known for its welcoming atmosphere, delightful flavors, and the unmistakable touch of Tina’s heart.
Tina found joy in the simple pleasures of life—shopping for clothes and shoes, always on the lookout for a good deal. Her passion extended to attending auctions and casinos alongside her companion, Kevin Neal, where they created unforgettable memories together. Tina would cheer on her beloved grandsons, Colten, Caden, and Carter, at their events, possessing an unwavering support that enriched their lives. She was known for her love of ice cream and coffee, delighting in the little moments shared over these comforts. Tina also cherished vacationing in Florida, where she relished the sun and the company of family and friends.
Tina’s family meant everything to her. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Ryan) Edgar, who carries forward her spirit; her grandsons, Colten, Caden, and Carter, who adored their grandmother; and her loving companion, Kevin Neal. Tina also leaves behind her nieces, Sara and April Rodriguez, her nephew, Andrew (Courtney) Rodriguez, and her great-nephew, Braxton Bennett, who all held a special place in her heart.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Shirley Rodriguez (Parish), who nurtured her loving nature; her brothers, Jay and Chico Rodriguez, who were part of her foundation; and her granddaughter, Heather Murphy, whose memory will continue to shine brightly within the family.
Tina McGuire's spirit will live on through the love she shared and the connections she fostered throughout her life. Her vibrant laughter and heartwarming presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love will continue to resonate in the lives of her family and friends.
