Tip A. Bruce Scott, 69, of Leesburg, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 23, 1947 in Hammond, IN to Aurey & Virginia (Pierce) Scott.
He attended Warsaw High School, DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, University of Cincinnati, and received his Master’s Degree from Michigan State University. He studied abroad at Oxford in England & Paris-Sorbonne University in France. He lived most of his life in the Kosciusko County area and a short time in Venice Beach, CA. He was a self-employed architect in Leesburg.
He is survived by:
Daughter – Amelia Scott of Texas
Son – Graham Oliver Fortner Scott of Bloomington, IN
Sister – Mary Jo Stirling of Santa Monica, CA
Grandson – Shamus Scott of Texas
3 Nieces & 2 cousins
He was preceded in death by his parents.
No public services will be held. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN is in charge of arrangements.
Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
