Trevis Smith

Trevis A. Smith, a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, passed away on Monday evening, October 30th as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was 26 years old.
Trevis was born on February 21, 1991 in Plymouth. He was the son of Ron and Linda (Seitner) Smith and the youngest of four children. He was also a 2010 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School.
Most recently, Trevis was employed as a cabinet maker for AIA. He was a staffer through People Link and had worked for Warsaw Chemical and Tri-Lakes Container, Pierceton.
Someone who enjoyed being outdoors and staying active, Trevis loved to fish; he especially loved chasing Bass and Blue Gill. He enjoyed playing cards and other games with his family. He loved children and was great with his nephews, nieces and cousins.
Trevis’ life was forever changed on March 16, 2016 when the love of his life, Cassandra “Cassie” Dillinger passed away unexpectedly of kidney disease.
Those who survive with memories to treasure include his parents, Ron and Linda Smith of Claypool; two sisters, Christina (Shawn) Conwell of Warsaw and Ronda Harris of Pierceton, and his brother, Thomas (Angela) Smith of Warsaw. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Chayla, Kiley, Kayleigh, Bryce, Gabby, Paige and Ava; many great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to his fiancée, Cassie, those who preceded him in passing include his maternal grandparents, Mary Jo and Carl Seitner, and paternal grandparents, Edgar and Eva Smith.
The family will receive friends for a time or sharing and for visitation on Thursday, November 2, 2017 in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service which celebrates Trevis’ life will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, 6800 S. SR 15, Claypool with Pastor Dean Ealey officiating. Trevis will be interred beside his beloved fiancée in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
