Biography
Valerie Ann Skinner, 44, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 10:47 AM in her Winona Lake, Indiana home.
The daughter of Eugene and Barbara (Green) Frye, Valerie was born November 2, 1970 in Spaulding, Manchester Parish, Jamaica, West Indies.
She was a 1988 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. Valerie studied at Grace College and went on to earn her Biblical Studies Degree from Word of Life Bible Institute.
She and Randy Skinner were married August 4, 1999 in Warsaw. Valerie lived most of her life in Kosciusko County and was a self-employed housekeeper. She loved and treasured her boys. Valerie attended Christ’s Covenant Church. She enjoyed the beach and flower gardening in the summer; and she loved her cat, Snow.
She is survived by her husband, Randy and will be deeply missed by her 2 sons: Nicholas Skinner and Joseph Skinner at home; parents: Eugene and Barbara Frye of Warsaw; and her brother and sister-in-law: Nate and Lisa Frye of Winona Lake. Valerie was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Frye on August 4, 2003.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in comfort and support of each other Wednesday, December 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. A service celebrating the life of Valerie Ann Skinner will take place Thursday, December 11th beginning at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Pfeiffer of Warsaw Community Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
