Vickey L. Montgomery

Vickey Lynn Montgomery, 67, of Cromwell, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. She was born on February 27, 1952 in Lagrange, IN to Wayne & Francis (Danielson) Lewis.

She lived most of her life in the Lagrange area and moved to Cromwell in 1992.  She formerly attended Lakeland High School in Lagrange, IN and she was married on May 3, 2003 in Syracuse, IN to John Montgomery who survives.  She formerly worked at Millennium in Ligonier, IN for 3 years and Rinker Boat Company in Syracuse for 18 years.  She was a member of the American Legion Post #223 in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

Husband – John Montgomery of Cromwell

2 Daughters – Tracy (Mike) Varney of Syracuse and Stacy (Dave) Mullinger of Fort Wayne, IN

2 Sons – Larry (Angie) Hicks of Syracuse and Kevin (Amie) Hicks of Churubusco, IN

12 Grandchildren and 8 Gt. Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Linda Brown and Martha (Eli) Knepp both of Lagrange

Brother- Mike Lewis of Goshen

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister – Ruth Hoopingarner.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN.
