Victor Avila-Negete
Victoriano “Victor” Avila-Negrete, 70, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 10:35 PM in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Victor was born March 6, 1944 in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico to Jose Avila-Gonzalez and Guadalupe (Negret-Torres). He was a high school graduate.
On March 26, 1979 he and Juana Gonzalez de Avila were married in Jalisco, Mexico. He moved from Mexico to Chicago, Illinois in 1979 and then to Warsaw in 2011. He had worked in the shipping department at Medcast for a year.
In addition to his wife, Juana, Victor is survived by Maria Rios and family, Claudia Gonzalez and family, Maria Gonzalez and family, Francisco Rios and family, Armando Rios and family, Obdulia Gonzalez and family, Asencion Gonzalez and family, Miguel Gonzalez and Guadalupe Salas and family – all of Warsaw. His parents preceded him in death.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Saturday, June 21st from 12:30 – 2:30 PM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A funeral mass will be said at Our Lady of Guadalupe beginning at 3 PM with Father Constantino Rocha of the church officiating. Burial will take place in Pantiondel Pueblo de Moya, Jalisco, Mexico
