Virginia M. “Marie” Snyder, 36, of Bourbon, IN passed away at 5:07 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Center for Hospice Care House in Elkhart, IN. She was born on July 21, 1976 in Chicago, IL to Kimberly S. Fultz.
She attended George Washington High School in Chicago and attended the University of Illinois. She was married on July 2, 2007 in Plymouth to James E. Snyder who survives. She moved to Bourbon 12 years ago from Chicago and formerly worked at Journey’s End Bar in Bourbon.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bourbon and formerly attended the 1st Baptist Church in Hammond, IN.
She is survived by:
Husband – James Snyder of Bourbon (formerly of Syracuse / North Webster area)
4 Daughters – Cheyanna Sioux Marie Greene of Bourbon; Mackenzy Jane Freels of Bourbon; Courtney Danielle Hickey of North Chicago, IL & Shannon Suzanne Kienitz of Indianapolis
Son – Marcus Snyder of Bourbon
Mother - Kim Hack of Chicago
Sister – Brenda (Timothy) Jackson of Chicago
2 Brothers – Richard Hack & Gerald Wojtas both of Chicago
Former Step Father – Richard Wojtas of Chicago
There will be no public services as requested by Virginia.
