Wayne B. Howenstine, 47, of Leesburg, IN passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at his home. He was born on September 26, 1963 in Huntington, IN to Jay H. and Myrtle Alice (Oxley) Howenstine.
He lived in Columbia City until he moved to North Webster in the 1970’s where he lived most of his life. He attended Jefferson Township School in Columbia City, North Webster Jr. Hi, & and Wawasee High School in Syracuse.
He was formerly employed at Bison Manufacturing in Milford and he was a former truck driver.
He is survived by:
Sister – Mrs. Troy (Rhonda) Ousley of Leesburg
Brother – Steve (wife, Pam) Howenstine of Lafayette
1 Niece, 3 Nephews, & 1 Step Nephew
2 Gt. Nieces, 1 Gt. Nephew, & 4 Step Gt. Nieces & Nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Wyman of the North Webster Church of the Brethren officiating. Burial will follow at the North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition).
