Wendell A. Walls, 73, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:55 AM in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw.
Wendell was born December 17, 1941 in Warsaw to Bud and Joann (Galbreath) Walls. He was a 1959 graduate of Pierceton High School, Pierceton, Indiana.
He and Loretta Conaway Spangle were joined in marriage October 3, 1975 in Warsaw.
He was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident with the exception of the 11 years they wintered in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Wendell worked in the maintenance department for DePuy’s for 31½ years retiring in 2004.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He collected antique cars, liked Allis Chalmer tractors and was a World War ll history buff.
Those left with memories to treasure are his wife, Loretta; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Roger and Carol Stump, Warsaw; nephew: Kevin (Tina) Stump of Billings, Montana; niece Toni Copenhaver of Twinsburg, Ohio; 6 great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to share memories and words of encouragement from 3-8 PM, Thursday, June 18th at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
A service to celebrate the life of Wendell A. Walls will take place Friday morning beginning at 10:30 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Conelley of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
The family has asked that gifts in Wendell’s memory be given to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2943 W. 400N, Warsaw, Indiana 46582.
